A WIP thing

So a friend of mine, Shannon, did this and talked me into it.  I’m not really sure how applicable it is to my only concrete work in progress, since Færie Patrol is so very much a “I’ll jot down a few words if I suddenly get a bug” status right now.

Still, it’s cute, it can’t hurt, so what the hell, right?

What is the name of your current WIP?

I haven’t named it yet, beyond “Now & Forever Book 3″

Ready to do a cover reveal?

Are you kidding?  I don’t even have a title yet.  And there’s an acute lack of decent photographs to use for a teen lesbian romance that aren’t already being used for the previous two covers … you’ll all understand if I have a complete nervous breakdown in the coming year, right?

How many words are you into it?

Couldn’t say — paper is annoyingly bad at counting.

Goal word count by the end of the week?

Goal?  Even 1 would be nice, but I’m still not able to really cope with my writing bag (stupid 10lb rule, and stupid 10+lb worth of stuff in bag …)

Goal word count for the entire manuscript?

What a strange question!  Why ever would I wish to limit the story’s potential in such an arbitrary and unnecessary fashion.

What genre does your WIP fall within?

Young Adult Lesbian Slice-of-life Romantic-Comedy

When would you like to publish this project?

Tomorrow, but the elves haven’t seen fit to visit me in the night and write and edit the thing for me in exchange for a bit of honey or porridge so … next year, I’d have to guess.

Go to page five and pick a random sentence to share with us!

Totally not happening right now.  This isn’t a simply copy/paste process, after all.

Will this WIP turn into a series?

This is the latter half of a series, so … I’m going with “no” here.

What has been the hardest challenge in working on this WIP?

None until the surgery, now I just don’t feel well enough for long enough at a time, and can’t even comfortably get at the … physical limitations.

What has been your favorite part of working on this WIP?

I love Lauren and Sally.  Truth be told, they’re just fun to write.  They interact in a way that’s so cute, funny, sweet … it’s a really joyful thing to witness as it forms on the paper.

Any special treat planned for when you finish the final draft of your WIP?

A pint of Guinness.
